About Chris

Leadership shaped through experience. Improvement driven by purpose.

I'm Chris Campbell, founder of CWC EDGE.

After more than three decades leading people in the British Army and driving operational improvement within UK manufacturing, I've learned one simple truth:

Sustainable business improvement always starts with people.

Whether developing leaders, streamlining operations or creating a culture of continuous improvement, my focus is always the same — helping organisations build better leaders, better systems and better businesses.

MY JOURNEY

Every leader has a story. Mine began in the British Army, where I learned that leadership isn't about rank—it's about responsibility.

Those lessons followed me into manufacturing, operational excellence and Lean transformation, where I've spent years helping organisations improve performance by developing people, simplifying systems and creating lasting change.

Today, CWC EDGE brings those experiences together to help businesses build stronger leaders, better systems and better businesses.

What I Believe

Great organisations are built by great people, supported by simple systems and a culture of continuous improvement.

Leadership

Leadership is service, not status.

The best leaders create clarity, develop people and build trust through their actions every day.

Lean

Lean starts with people, not processes.

Sustainable improvement comes from empowering teams to solve problems and remove waste together.

Lasting Impact

Lasting improvement beats quick fixes.

Real success is measured by what continues long after the project has finished.
